President Muhammadu Buhari says vice president osinbajo would continue as acting president in spite of his return from medical vacation.

Announcing this at his first meeting with his cabinet and service chief at the presidential villa in Abuja, President Buhari stated that he felt much better but needed must rest.

The number one citizen who expressed gratitude to Nigerians who called and prayed for him during his medical vacation in London, reassured Nigerians of his dedication to serve and deliver of the dividends of democracy

In his remarks, the vice president, professor yemi osinbajo thanked his boss for the confidence reposed on him to take over leadership in acting capacity

President Muhamadu Buhari returned to Nigeria after 51 days’ vacation in London as a presidential jet, conveying him landed at exactly 7:40 a.m. today at the Nigerian Air Force Base in kaduna

IBB University Discovers Crude Oil in Bida Basin, Niger State

The Ibrahim Badamasi Babaginda (IBB) University in Lapai, Niger State, has made a major breakthrough with the discovery of large quantity of crude oil deposit at Bida Basin. The Head of Research and Development, Ibrahim Badamasi Babaginda (IBB), Lapai In Niger State, Prof. Nuhu Obaje, on Thursday, said the institute has discovered large quantity of crude oil deposit at Bida Basin. He disclosed that the institution had made its findings known to both the Federal Government as well as the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). According to DailyTrust, Prof. Obaje said that the management of the university was ready and willing to assist government in further exploration of crude in the area.
