Fire razes shops in Suleja, Niger State

No fewer than five shops were razed in a fire outbreak, which occurred in Suleja, Niger State.
The fire which started from a shop in the old Minna garage area of the town yesterday destroyed property worth several millions of naira.
Reports say sympathisers had sent distress calls to the Niger State Fire Service but that there was no response as all its fire-fighting vehicles were not serviceable.

However, an eyewitness said he suspected some chemicals were being mixed in one of the shops, which might have been responsible for the explosion that occurred.
